Ellie Rose is the founder and principal strategist of More Than Memory. She helps Executive Directors and COOs of aging service and dementia care companies view their people, program and architectural spaces as a competitive advantage, and to rethink their business strategies and workforce to get sustainable, continuously improving business results.
More Than Memory partners with companies to drive results by increasing the capacity of direct care staff teams, redesigning activity programs, and improving care plan outcomes. Ellie's resources include business evaluations, proven sales strategies, presentations, workshops, webinars, care plans and various other in-person and virtual supports. Ellie has been a leader and strategist in aging and dementia care services for ten years. She started as a Person-Centered Care Specialist in a successful older adult community service program and quickly advanced to director before leaving to start More Than Memory. She was a fellow in the U.S. LeadingAge, Leadership Academy, and is supported with a B.A. in Fine Arts and graduate GCAP in Gerontology.
Ellie currently lives in Mexico City temporarily serving Salus Holdings, a business group created to operate and replicate memory clinics, home care, adult day health centers, assisted livings and geriatric care education in latin america. She travels to her family home in Chicago, IL regularly to work with any executive desiring to improve their aging services and/or dementia care business strategies for growing business results.
As the model author of More Than Memory Dementia Care Business Solutions and editor of the book, The Penelope Project: An Arts-Based Odyssey to Change Elder Care, Ellie brings an extraordinary passion for improving aging services, dementia care and the businesses that support it.
